Celebrating the Opening of Provincetown Commons

The inaugural exhibition at Provincetown Commons celebrates the enduring spirit of the Provincetown Art Colony and the diversity of artistic practice on the Outer Cape. The exhibition is open to contemporary practitioners who make art on the Outer Cape. This is not a juried show. We will exhibit one piece by any local artist who would like to participate.

Where: Provincetown Commons, 46 Bradford Street, Provincetown MA

Show dates: December 1, 2018 - February 28, 2019

Opening Reception: Saturday, December 1, Ribbon Cutting at 12:30 PM with Reception to Follow.

Drop off work at 46 Bradford Street: 26 & 27 November from 4-6 PM.

Pick up work: March 4 & 5 between 9 AM and 5 PM

Size: Two-dimensional work should not exceed 36” square. Three-dimensional work should fit within a 14 x 14” area or be ready to hang on the wall. If you’d like to show larger work, please contact to insure space is available. All work must be ready to hang or install.

Proceeds: All sales of artwork must be conducted privately by the artist or through a representing gallery. Provincetown Commons will not serve as a broker for sales and will not ask for any commission.

Note: Artists will be responsible for any insurance, for making arrangements with their own galleries for showing in the exhibition, and for any commissions that may be due to their own galleries. Any costs for return shipping back to the artist after the show will be the responsibility of the artist.
