Artist's Statement
The work in this show is about imagination, color and fun.
Being in such a beautiful part of the world, I’ve tried to present a perspective of what is special about our little spit of land surrounded by water. The uniqueness of Provincetown is easy to celebrate and I hope this show stimulates and invites awareness. There are painting from places other than Provincetown in the show as well, and I hope they also trigger a sense of fun. These are from my tenure in the Central Coast of California, and Santa Fe, NM.
My person driver is to create images that are joyful, working from a philosophy that we can all enjoy art that makes us feel better. Please enjoy these pieces and let your imagination embrace and interpret what works for you.
