Join us February 11th and 12th at The Commons to help support the students of the Provincetown IB Schools fundraise for their trip to London. Artist and Commons board member Mark Adams has generously donated his time to hold a Drawing Workshop for MYP 3 students, their parents, and community members. During this workshop, participants will be asked to create pieces of art that will be donated and priced at $50 during the Commons Event. The workshop will be held at school in the cafeteria on January 28th from 10am - 12pm. This is a great opportunity to assist in the fundraising to generate the costs for the London trips.

MARK ADAMS is a painter, printmaker, and a cartographer with the National Park Service and has been based on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard since 1987. He exhibits regularly at The Schoolhouse Gallery where he has focused on works of art that use layered images of maps, personal notebook pages, text, data and images of animals and friends in light accumulation on paper and wood panels. Adam’s work is about things that imperfectly represent the nature to our society, harvesting curiosity, wonderment and a little biology as source material.
