I’m biking 1,000 miles for Provincetown Commons this summer. We aren’t able to hold our usual summer fundraiser, so I thought I’d push myself to ride the extra miles in support of the arts and the creative economy on the Outer Cape. The funds generated from my rides will enable the Commons to provide artist studios, gallery space, meeting rooms, co-working space and economic development support in one of the oldest artist colonies in the United States.

It’s a tough year for fundraising and there are lots of asks and priorities, so I’d be grateful for a donation in any amount. You’ll be supporting more than 200 artists who have exhibited work at the Commons, 18 nonprofits who have used our meeting spaces, 8 local artists currently working in our artist studios, and 30 members that need our shared workspaces. And this year your donation is being matched by a $50,000 capital grant from the MassDevelopment, Massachusetts’ finance and development agency.
