ALL THE GOOD STUFF
On exhibit Feb. 15th - March 6th at The Commons
Opening Reception Wednesday, February 16th 5 - 7pm
The Provincetown International Baccalaureate Schools community inspires and educates students to be principled and caring young people and responsible leaders, skilled as open-minded inquirers who have the courage and will to co-create a peaceful and just world, through advocacy of social justice for all.
PYP 5 students explored the influence of African masks in Picasso’s work. These student artists then combined their predominant sense of emotion at the time, Western African mask traditions and the Cubist work of Pablo Picasso to design and create these masks of emotion.
The Commons is excited to team up with the students of Provincetown Schools and host their exhibit “All The Good Stuff”. This show is a multi grade exhibition of pieces that are all inspired by social emotional ideas of empathy, love, self care, kindness...all the good stuff. Curated and created by the students of Provincetown schools.
